Anna grew up in the Midwest but lives in North Florida. She finds herself still in awe that she has lemon and banana trees in her backyard. And that she can grow lettuce in December. In their tiny urban yard, Anna and her husband have five raised garden beds, and orange, lemon, lime, fig, and pear trees. They enjoy canning, cooking, preserving, and gathering anything edible that they grow, catch, or find.
